Sports
Department of physical education has all the facilities to coach the students to win the Inter - University, Inter -Zone, Inter - Collegiate, State level and District level sports and games. Our college has a very spacious play ground of 10 acres which includes 400 mts Standard track, Cricket ground, Football field, Hockey field, Volleyball, Kabaddy, Ball Batminton, Kho-Kho and Hand Ball Courts, There are various Indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, Carrrom and etc.

State level and District level tournaments are periodically held in the campus.

Volleyball winners (Men), 100m (Men) Bronze medal and Silambam (Women's) 3rd Bronze Medal.
MTC Athletics Meet- 2026
(Women's) Long jump 1st Place Gold medal and (Women's) 100m Bronze Medal the whole credit goes to the entire family of Surya Engineering College especially to the Correspondent, Director, Principal, HODs, Staff members, House Captains and students who have actively participated and helped us for this grand success of Sports Day and we assure that we would go beyond in the forthcoming years.
